I need a recipe for a Remington Rolling Block Model 5 in 7mm with 139gr Lee cast bullets. I was thinking about 14grs of 2400 but was worried about pressures. Need a good recipe.

I've shot 17.3 grs.of 2400 in my Ruger Hawkeye 7 X 57 with a heavier bullet than that with zero problems.

No pressure signs at all. I'd think that 14 grs. would be pretty mild with a 139 gr.

If the necks are sooted, you may need to " inch up " a grain or so at a time on the powder charge until the necks are clean.
