About a year ago I got a 6 cavity 452-200 gr copy of the H&G68 and have not until today used it. Now I have used it and I believe I am spoiled. It is a nice mold and you can shur pour through the lead in a hurry. I got almost 2000 boolits poured where I would have gotten two or three hundred with my 2 cavity molds. I am now contemplating getting rid of my 2 cavity molds and replacing them with 6 cavity. The hold back with it is now the 10 lb pot. It goes down quick.

one of the few times in life when you get good and fast, is with quality 4,5,6 cavity molds.
i use a 40 lb dual spout pot and just loaf along with 4 cavity molds and can make a good pile of boolits in an hour or two.
the big pot and dual spout speeds up 2 cav production too.

Before you sell off all them 2 cavity molds and start replacing them with 6 cavity molds, step up to a 20lb pot or 40lb pot if you can swing it. Even with a 20lb pot the alloy goes really fast running a 6 cavity mold.

I like the locating pins better on the 6 cavs.
And the fact that one can get a mountain of boolits in a hurry.

Keep your others--sometimes its just nice to have the option to make a few of a different design.

I also use my 2 c's to pour up sample boolits when I make up a batch if ingots. I jot down all the pertinent info on a baggie and drop in a half dozen or so poured while I am pouring ingots. Later on I can use these to test the hardness at random intervals.
