lock smiths use a very fine grade of graphite for locks.
i don't know why you'd want a mold release.
unless you need to make the cavity's,or part of the cavity's smaller.

You can try a product called Lock Ease Fluid.....available in many stores.

Are you having a problem with a specific mould, or do you put mould release in all your moulds? The reason I ask is that unless there's a problem with a mould, it's best to run your moulds totally clean, they work best this way. If you have a mould with a problem it's best to find and fix the problem, mould releases just mask the problem. If you're having trouble getting the boolits to fall from the mould, do a search for "leementing" if you do that to your mould(s) that should fix any problems you're having. Have you tried LIGHTLY smoking your mould? That can also help, and leaves a much smaller coating on the mould blocks than using a graphite based mould release.

They use microfine graphite powder for lots of industrial purposes, I get mine at the feed store cheap, it's used for lubricating the metering & feeding parts in older seed drills.

The product you are looking for is called Neolube. You can purchase it here (http://www.micromark.com/neolube-2-fl-oz,8383.html) and get the MSDS here (http://www.sisweb.com/referenc/msds/neolube2.pdf). I purchased a quart about 20 years ago and still have plenty. I also have the small container they sell on the website I posted and still have plenty of it. I do not use it on molds, I use it on my guns.

IME, mold release is not necessary. If you think you need it, you have some other
problem, usually burrs or similar geometric issues.

Mould release may treat the symptom but it won't cure the problem.

Never use the stuff.

Try casting first and see if you have an issue, most non mould HP problems are usually temperature related.

it's not really graphite so I don't know why people call it white graphite-it's hexagonal boron nitride.
I've never used it on a boolit mould. I get it from McMaster-carr.
