logged in?

Any one else having trouble staying logged in? I wrote a long post to someone who found out he had cancer and couldn't post it because of 'time' I suppose.

How about it, mods?

When you are logging in, put a check mark in the "remember me" box to the right of of your user name.

If that does not help, hit the refresh button often, or compose your post in a word type application and then copy and paste to the dialog box.

You timed out. It happens. Easy way to type it out is to open it in a new window or tab. Then while you type, go back to the other tab and surf the site a little then go back and forth. When done typing, Copy and paste the whole thing in a new post.

If you stay in one post trying to type it out, you will time out.

If it ever happens again, just copy everything you wrote, then go back to the thread you were replying to, then go to post reply. Then paste the reply to the thread, it'll go right through.

I have been having problems staying logged in. I log in to answer a post and when I try to post it the site delivers the "you don't have permission, etc." and I have to log in again. Even on a very short reply.

Read and do as post #2 says. I've been logged in for years. Even after I reboot and call up the site again, I'm still logged in.

Sometimes it can be cookie problems too. You can go here:
http://castboolits.gunloads.com/mycookies.php
click everything on the left hand side and then click delete my cookies.
Also, the site uses http://castboolits.gunloads.com and not http://www.castboolits.gunloads.com (notice the www in the second URL). Sometimes that can cause issues too. So make sure your bookmarks are set to THIS URL:
http://castboolits.gunloads.com
