Guys, here's a 3-shot, 50 yard group I shot this morning with my 38 Mosin-Nagant with a .316"-.317" groove diameter barrel. I used a 3x scout scope. The bullet is the cheap Rem 185 gr jacketed .323" bullet swaged down to .3155" in a Lee reamed-out .314" die ala Buckshot.

Yesterday I shot a 13/16" 3-shot, 50 yard group with some Norma .318" 196 gr jacketed bullets swaged down to .3155" in the same die. This rifle is a keeper!

Thats great Junior. I have done the same thing with Steyr 1895 rifles and carbines in 8x56r. Used .338" cast and jacketed bullets, and sized down to .334 in a sizer, made from scratch by Buckshot. Fortunately, these rifles usually have very large throats. Roughly 2' groups at 50 yard, with open sights.

Keep up the good work.
