I need to find couple of the coarsest shotgun powders available on the market b/c I have two problems. First one is my Lee Load All presses are leaking fine powders I use and the wads seems to be undersize inside hulls in many combinations and also leaking the powders! Clearly seen in my clear Fiocci hulls for instance. Any sugestions?

Try Clays for 12 ga trap loads or similar (you didn't specify a gauge or load types.) Universal for field loads.

Most Alliant Powders are flake (Coarce)
Are you using a straigth or taper wad ??
How much powder are you seeing
(what load aer you loading )

I load for 20ga & 16ga slugs, buckshot and #5,#6 hunting loads from 7/8oz to 1-1/8oz mostly. Willing to experiment with the weight of powder charge according to manuals of course and useing coarse powders is the cheapest fix to my problem. Thanks for all the responses.

Herco, Blue Dot, SR 4756, SR 7625, Universal, International clays... those are all powders I'd use.. for 20 and 16..

i'm assuming 12 ga
the fiocchi hulls are straightwalled.
they are also shorter [67mm airc versus 70] and thier primers used to be larger diameter than standard.
if for target loads red dot, clays ,american select,700-x will work.
for field use unique,800-x,universal.

Two things.
You need wads for straight walled hulls. You don't say what wads you are using but many are for tapered wall hulls.
Any of the Dots (Red, Green, Blue) plus Unique and Herco should be satisfactory in your Lee. They worked for me and should cover most any load you want. Regards, Woody
