Has anyone ever heard of a wiggens flintlock.
Apparently there is a 75 cal. in this auction. Wouldn't that be comparable to a 12 guage.

Yes, that would be a 12 bore. Never heard of it right off hand. Tried a Google, no info. It may be a custom gun.

I may not bid on it, but am going to go look at it .
There is a gun show this weekend also, so may run out of money before the auction. lol
Judging from past gunshows, muzzle loaders of any sort are not big sellers here.
I know there have been two double barrels in the 200 buck range for at least the last three shows,I may just have to claim one of them.

I went and looked at it, there is some proofmarks and it is all there, but fairly rough especially at the muzzle.

That would be 600 plus 10% buyers premium and additional charges for internet buyers.
I'm thinking it was probably worth it, but it had seen a lot of rust and lately someone had done a crude welding job on the inside of the barrel at the muzzle and a poor job of touching it up with a file.
The lock was tight and seemed to work like it was suppose to and the stock didn't have any cracks that I could see either.
