If you haven't heard yet, CSM Plumley (youngsters may remember his character as the Iron Jaw CSM in 'We Were Soldiers') has entered Hospice care outside Fort Benning, GA.

Please send him prayers, thoughts and if you're man enough, a card. Address is below.
This man spent his life protecting ours. No empty gestures, please. I just got back from the post office mailing out a letter to him. It's 2AM here.

I am ASSuming by the hospice address he is not doing well.

Yeah, hospice is basically where you go to die, and they make it as comfortable as possible for you.

Actually surprised this didn't get more replies, seeing as how many veterans and patriots this site has.

What kind of card or letter constitutes an "empty gesture" in your opinion, as opposed to a card or letter that has meaning?
