I have found lots of data useing H 110,IMR 4227 and other powders.
Anyone out there useing 2400 I have alot of this powder on hand and reall don't want to buy another powder right now

Years ago I tried it and it shot OK but both of my 7 TCU Contender barrels prefer 4198

I have been using 16.7 grains of 2400 with Lee 130 grain bullets.
It has worked well for me and seems accurate in my 10" contender barrel.

Check the Contender Handbook. It has both cast and jacketed loads.

Try the RCBS 145....cast weight is 154 in WW.... with 14 gr 2400.... works great in a 14" T/C

Try Loadbooks USA, Page 4 of "Store". It shows both volumes of The Complete Reloading Manual for the TC Contender. These are great cast references, also j-bullets.
