Friend of mine picked these two mold's up last weekend at a local gun-show.
First is a Lyman's 357446 H.P. single cav. with handle's for 20.00 buck's..and
Second is a Lyman's 452460 four cav. without handle's for 40.00 buck's
I repayed what he had into them and now waiting to try them out.!!!

460 is one of the very best molds for .45 ACP.

He did call me first before he picked these up to buy for me.
I do however need a set of handle's for the 542460 mold's,Who sell's at a fair price ?

Second is a Lyman's 452460 four cav. without handle's for 40.00 buck'sLyman 4 cavities w/o handles go for $65 - 85 in good condition
I repayed what he had into them Shame on you....I'll give you that for them so you won't feel guilty[smilie=l:and now waiting to try them out.!!!

Hey Larry...Shame on me not,He called me about buying these for me while i was building a deer stand.
He gave me a price and i had him grab them up...
I also have casted a few thousand .41 for him..I don't feel bad at all,However in the future if i decide i feel bad.You'll be first on my list for resale...lol, Later man

I wouldn't trade my 460 for anything, good find there. As for the handles I took the cheap way out, I bought a set of lee handles and milled them down to fit lyman molds.

Handles for a 4 cavity Lyman mould are only available from 2 sources that I know. Actual Lyman brand handles, and ones made by forum member Red River Rick. I own both, and both are quality products, and both sell for around $35.00 The new handles are all the 'plier' type, older Lyman handles are the 'clamshell' style with the hinge at the far end of the handles, rather than in the middle. Some people prefer the clamshell style, I don't.
