Yeah, Jim. I just have to say that is Gospel Truth. I have read the bad language, foul mouthed, sniping, crazy, "How to build a nuke" posts on other forums. I choose to be here. And I am NOT a member of any other forum.

I know that there is an AR forum out there, but I wont join it. Good luck with your quest.

D,
seriously ?
that's like asking, "I'm looking for a different gun, what should I get ? "
you should post more info,
what are you currently into?
mil surps ?
Smith & Wesson ?
reloading ?

then plug your interests into a search engine like Google or Bing,
tons of them will pop up.
Jon

D,
I understand, In my poorly worded response, I was trying to point you toward searching the web for the Forums that might interest you. There are hundreds...maybe thousands of gun related forums. For example, I did a quick search for Mil surp forums and found the following addresses for you.

Even though i have personally suffered the wrath of the mods once (and properly so - I lost it with a poster once), and have actually been issued an "infraction" (which was lifted upon appeal by the Cast Boolits Supreme Court - placed on parole) this is by far the best board out there. Bar none.
The mods do a great job in keeping the lid on obnoxious dissent, even though there is occasional collateral damage.

Mr. Crockett, if you'll tell us what kind of information you're looking for, you'll get lots of help. That's the way we are.

As for your comment ".....so please if you do not have a site address please do not wright any thing.....", I thought that was a bit rude in light of the fact that we're trying to help you. You need to learn to eat the meat and spit out the bones.

Well said Jim.

I also would be happy to help with resources if you let us know what you are interested it. I bounced from a few sites to here, now i read 20X what i post and love it. Good, but not unfair mod'ing, straightforward no BS info and enough posts to backup any thread on a subject i need help figuring out.

If you are looking for something not covered here, Such as AR specific dicussion, Class III weapons, long range J-word hunting/shooting or brand specific dicussion let us know and someone will guide you there!

Jim, you are a very eloquent and polite person. You impress me every day. Well said.

OP, I meant no offense. I only meant to head you off from being aggravated, disappointed, and offended on other sites. The amount of BS you will get on other forums is not information and makes learning difficult. No matter what you want to know, there are people on here that know and will help. Just because there is not a sub-forum or discussion area for that specific topic you want, you can always post it under "Our Town" and someone will respond. And I HAVE discussed class III, SBR's, AOW's, and J-word hunting. The people here are very willing to help and are the kindest people I know.

And if you re-read, I did suggest the AR forum. Any google search will bring it up.

I hope you realize the caliber of people here and ascimilate easily. We need everyone we can get.

And just so my post is meaningful, here ya go. www.gunforums.com/

OK! Here are the links to forums that I have in my bookmarks. Just ignore this post if it is of no value to you. I plan to use this list to weed out the majority that I don't visit. Then there will be about a half dozen that I visit regularly and another half dozen that I want available.
