I own a 500 S&W Mag and have a Lee 440gr. Flat nose bullet mold that I have used for the last 5 years doing tumble lubing. .501 dia.
I am going to be getting an RCBS Lube a Matic 2 soon to load my 10mm and .45 ACP ammo.
I noticed their(RCBS) sizer die on the Midway site is .500 diameter, but the Lee bullet mold and reloading die calls for a .501 dia. bullet.

Is this normal or should I get a custom sizer die in .501 dia. for the RCBS Lube a matic 2 when working with 500 S&W bullets?

What does your barrel and chamber openings measure?

I'll dig out my caliper in my shooting shack and see what it says. All of the Jacketed bullets measure. .500 I just talked with RCBS and they said that their .500 sizer should work fine.
The LEE mold is supposed to drop a slug in the .502 -.503 range and then use their sizer to get it to .501 which is what the RCBS will do.
