I was shopping my LGS this weekend and came upon this new model of the Traditions Vortek line. It's a basic .50 with a fluted 30" barrel.
Anyone have any experience with this model? Is it a worthwhile muzzle loader?
I have only ever used sidelock percussion muzzies for hunting, so I am shopping for my first entry level inline.

I have a Vortek rifle and pistol. They are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I dont have the LDR but the rifle is an Ultralight.
Accuracy is superp. Bagged two mulies with it last year using my own (.458) 463 gr cast boolits.
I wouldnt call this an entry level rifle, you can find those a lot cheaper. I have several and they dont compare to a Vortek.
If you decide to buy it, consider using Blackhorn 209 powder and a magnum 209 primer.
