Hey guys,
I got in on the Group Buy on this mold.
I couldn't find any results from anyone shooting this boolit in the searches I tried. Does anyone have any experience with this boolit? I am interested if anyone had any luck in using this in 45 ACP. I have been looking for a heavier than 200 grain HP boolit for a while.
I am also hopeful that it will work well in 45 Colt also but my Ruger/Bisley seems to like 255 grain or heavier boolits. I'm hoping because it is heavier in flat point form it and that is also longer than a 230 grain projectile that it will shoot like the heavier boolits.
Thanks, jmsj

It's a darn fine bullet for both the 45 colt realm and as a HP in the 45 Auto. I've had great success with this one as a solid in the 45 colt and it's very accurate. The bullet is a ringer even from two different Rossi lever actions (45 Colt and a 454 Casull). The Pins make huge HP's and my particular BRP 453640 mold thows them in the middle to upper 230 grains. This bullet happens to work well for whatever job I thow at it.

Here is a bit of info on the BRP design.

RobS,
Thanks once again.
I understand now why I was having such a problem finding info on this mold. I was using NOE in the search field. I did not realize that this was originally a BaBore mold design
Thanks, jmsj

Yep, a BRP mold put together or designed by 45 2.1 I believe. Actually I think that MiHec as well as the current NOE GB are productions of the same design.
