Unique in a 22 K Hornet

Has anybody ever done this? I just got back into reloading and the only powders I have on hand are Unique and Trail Boss. I have some gas checked lead boolits that weigh out at 48 grains. Can I get enough Unique in the K Hornet case? I'm not looking for a screamer just a plinking load.

Unique works very well with cast in the 22 Hornet to replicate .22RF Magnum velocities and performance. No reason it shouldn't work as well in the K Hornet. Suggest you work from 3.5 gr to 4.5 gr under your cast bullet.
