Hello all, I have found myself with a Ruger LCP .380. so I bought a Lee 124 gr TC TL boolit mold. That I plan to lube with 45/45/10.
I cast up a bunch out of 50/50 WW/Pure lead. Then I got to questioning is that hard enough? I am still waiting on the brass to come in so I cant test any yet.
This boolit is only for practice as I have some Critical defence ammo to carry with.
Your thoughts??This will be my first time loading for the .380.

Short answer , Yes.
Please do diligent research on .380 for self defense.
I work with a guy that carries a .380 slug in his shoulder. It penetrated the skin and stopped on his scapula. He was terribly inconvenienced by it before killing the assailant.

Also , please do not take this comment as an invitation to rekindle an old argument. Just check it out on your own.
