Gas checks shaving

I am using a Lee push through sizer and when I size my bullets it shaves off some of the copper from the gas check. Does this affect accuracy, or can I just ignore it? They are tiny hairlike shavings. Otherwise it is working pretty good.

Take a tapered punch and some wet/dry sandpaper (about 320grit) and some oil and "break" the sharp edge on the entrance of the sizer hole.
