Well, I did it again. I found a Pacific Standard Powder Measure real cheap and bought it. I knew it was missing parts but "Oh it aint that old, I should be able to fing parts for it." Well mebbe not. I'm waiting for info from Hornady's site and have done a couple searches. It doesn't seem to be old enough for antique reloading tool collectors and not a bunch of luck. Anybody have any info on Pacific Reloading Tools collectors or parts?

Thnx...

MDI, I am going to need a picture. There is more than one powder measure that Pacific called the Standard. I have examples of all of them. email me at: herters@netins.net

This is the model I bought. I need a measure tube, measure plunger, and measure lock ring. (Just the important parts!) http://www.hornady.com/assets/files/manuals-discontinued/metalic-reloading/tools/Pacific-Standard-Powder-Measure.pdf When I looked at it I didn't realizw/know what was missing. So much for impulse buying.

MDI, you are missing the most commonly missing parts. And nothing else will work. the drop tube is larger in diameter than B&M or Herter's or Redding.

Knowing the diameter of the missing tube, you could compare that to some of the various adjustable brass powder measures sold for use with black powder. Just a thought.

Blackhawk, that is a good thought. I had forgotten about them, I think one would work.

Good work,

I'm currently on vacation but when I get home I can measure mine and give anyone the size. I have the same one complete.

Pictured below is the measure in question and the drop tube. Finding just the drop tube will be a matter of great luck, and a lot of time searching.

That looks fairly simple to make, if I still had my lathe...
