This Hi Power with a broken extractor has found it's way into my hands. I have tried to show in the pics that it is the internal extractor that extends thru the end of the slide like 1911s. Not the short spring loaded external found on more modern Hi Powers.

Anybody have a lead on where I might be able to get a replacement for this extractor?

I looked for P35 parts as well as Hi Power but didn't come up with anything? I did get a copy of the proper parts diagram from Steve's Pages.

Thanks

You might give Sarco a call. They used to carry parts for both the internal and external style Highpowers.

I only saw external on the website. But I might give them a call just in case. Thanks.

I also found the ones on gunbroker, but not ready to pay $80+ yet.

Check with Morrison's gun shop in Asheville NC, he knows of a MFG that makes extractors for a large number of obsolete firearms. I was able to get one for an 1897 Colt 32ACP.

Jack First Gunshop in South Dakota says they have in stock for $80.
Still haven't heard what the guy wants to do about it. Maybe he won't think it's worth it and I'll try to end up with a HP.
