Building a slug gun out of a mossberg 185d-b

I have a mossberg 185d-a. The reciever cleaned up nice but the barrel is pitted a little too deep for me to bother trying to fix it. I would like to find a 20 gauge slug barrel blank for it. Does anyone know a good source? Also what can I do with the action to get the best accuracy out of this project?

You should ask vdoMemorie. I believe he uses a very similar platform for his blazing sabot guns. You wont have to look very long in the "casting for shotguns" section to find him! Shoot him a PM he is a heck of a guy, and very willing to help.

Numrich usually has blanks on sale. I picked up a 12 ga 19" heavy for $18 as I recall.
