I have a box (about 50 sticks) of old Javelina 50-50 lube sticks that are over 20 years old. They have gotten dried out and will not flow. Any ideas on how to melt them down and what to add to reconstitute them to usable form again?

beeswax usually comes back with just a re-melt.
if not a little lanolin will add a bit of tack and flexibility to the wax.
no more than 5% and add it as the melted waxes temp drops from 180 to closer to 150.
if you want more softness than flexibility you'll want to add some white lith grease/neats foot oil @ 10% will bring it around.

If you find you don't want to mess with them I would be interesting in taking them off your hands?
