Im not the kind of guy that like to brag, but I just have to share my excitement with some people who will understand. I picked up a MINT condition Winchester 1894 made in 1937 and chambered in 32 WS. We found it today at the big gunshow. The blueing is perfect with no signs of having been tampered with. I wish I had a good Internet connection so I could share pictures with everyone. Now I just have to find a mold and a set of dies and I will be in heaven.

Good find! I am going to be using a 1908 winchester 1894 in 32ws for pa deer this year. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.

I think I got a pretty good deal too. I paid $450 for it. I remember when these old model 94s could be bought for a couple hundred, but I guess gas cost less than a dollar a gallon then too. Anyway, this rifle will eventually get passed down to my boy.

Was hoping to recommend the Ranch Dog 323-170 but they are no longer available. I'm thinking RCBS or Lee has a similar mould and the LeveRevolution powder is showing promise in my 94. Nice find, lots of good threads and posts here about it.

Traded a guy a NM Blackhawk in 45 Colt for a 1941 dated Win 32spl.
It is an "Honest" working rifle that was carried more than it was ever shot.
Got Tom over at Accurate Molds to make me a copy of the RD 323-170.
Been having fun with it ever since I acquired it.

Congrats are in order, amazing that in our day a decent 'net connection can be hard to find. Been fighting mine all night.
Would like to see pics when you can manage it.

I'm right behind Haggway. I like to see picture. (That's from to many comic books when I was a kid.)

I have a 1938 model that I found in a pawn shop about 10 years ago. Mine is not in "mint" condition but with factory ammo it sure is accurate. I have taken it hunting but have not taken any game with it. It's the picture in my avatar by the way.

264 Win Mag, that's a beautiful carbine. I can't tell from your avatar, what kind of tang sight is that? I'm thinking of getting one for mine as well. I think I would be able to shoot it better than the factory irons and they just plain look cool too.

I'm working on getting some pictures up, maybe I can go to my local library where they have a fast internet connection. Oh, the joys of living in the sticks...

It's funny, I have no idea what type of tang sight it is but I do know it works. I have done a small amount of research but mainly I think it looks cool. I would never poke any extra holes in a rifle of that age to mount a scope so I shoot it just as.
I have hunted with it and loaded up some plinking loads with Trail Boss for a young nephew. Awesome light handy weapon for a youngster to try out.
Thinking of using it to hunt hogs after deer season this year.
