629 Smith "limited" model

Saw a Smith 629 engraved with somthing about Carpenters institute.It said 1989 10 of 500.It was priced less then a plain one.Any ideas?

The gun was made tor Carpenters Stainless Steel Technologies Company Reading Pa.It was for aniversity.They supplied stainless steel "ribs " for the Statue of Liberty. Also for Smith and Wesson.They made over 2000 of the guns.Maybe for thr higher ups in the company
