The black powder frame is currently cataloged and I want another one, so now is the time and I placed the order. The dealer told me sometimes it takes weeks, sometimes it takes months we will just have to wait and see. The wait time does not bother me as I already have many Colt SAA's to shoot while I wait. This one will be a .45 blued with the 4 3/5" bbl. That spring loaded cross bolt cylinder base pin retaining latch has been driving me nuts and I want this black powder model. I already have one black powder frame blued 7 1/2" .45 which shoots extremely well and I love how solid it is. The last couple of Colt's I've purchased have not even needed to have the sights adjusted or an action job. The cylinder throats have all been oversized and have the typical Colt tight bores. I'm having a new cylinder cut for another one of my SAA's in .44 Special. I'll keep you posted.
