Pacific power C ram

I read some rams on single stage presses will interchange with other brands. Some years ago I lost the retaining spring for the shell holder in my early 70s Pacific power C press. I tried using shell holder retainers from other presses but they do not fit. I drilled and tapped the hole in the top of the ram and with a set screw it works well enough. I do not use this press much anymore but would like too put it back too close too original. Any ideas on the retainer or a replacement ram. Hornady bought out Pacific and they don’t have any of the old Pacific parts any longer.
