For some reason, building a left hand gun just seems weird. Darn things are completely backwards. An unnatural act, as it were.

Easy now, I think she down right elegant! Give me some details, caliber, length, barrel, lock....

Very nice Ric. I could have put her to good use last eve. I have a good friend of mine from the Aussie Army staying with me for the month, and we were out shooting my trade gun. He is naturally a south paw, but was able to do quite well with the old trade gun shooting it right handed.

Fine looking firearm there, even if you think it is bassackwards.

Best wishes,

Joe

This is the North Star West left hand trade gun. This one has a 36" barrel, North Star lock, 20 bore, 13 1/2" LOP.

I like the look of the browned barrel. How hard is it to do such a thing? I have heard of old timers leaning it up against a tree and visiting it every now and again till a good patina had formed. This work?

I'm sure it works, but I use commercial browning solutions.

Looks good as just happens to be the right dimensions for me. Is it sold?

Yes, it's sold, but we have parts on hand generally. Go to the North Star West page, look around, and talk to Matt.
