I recently acquired some lead roofing shingles / tiles that look alot like the old slate roof tiles you'd see on old barns. (sorry, I don't have any pics...already melted them). They were flat in shape, approx. 1/4" thick, and approx. 9" x 14" in size. They each had two pre-drilled holes in the upper corners for nailing.

Two days after melting them into ingots, I check the hardness on my Cabine Tree. It was 10.5 BHN average.

Has anyone else had these or heard of them? What are their composition? I'm guessing it will cast and perform much like COWWs? Thanks.

I never heard of such , had to take stout rafters to hold a roof full of those up.

Gee Wilikers!! a 1000 sq ft roof would weigh around 14,000 pounds

Probably used to keep aliens from spying on them, kinda like the foil hats.

I would guess they are lead roof jacks, the appropiate size hole was cut, riser placed over vent pipe(or whatever plumbing out the roof), riser soldered to jack. Probably pure lead or very close to it.
