I bought my 1st NOE mold and wow, once its up to proper casting temp the boolits JUMP out of the mold with happiness....

But I think I made a mistake. The mold is marked .402 160 RN and it casts .402" on the partline. 90 degrees from that its .401", My barrels (Glock factory) slugged at .401"

Only thing to do is try them in my gun and see what happens. I sure hope there's no leading or accuracy issues. Anyone else experience this mistake and still steered clear of leading?

Oh yeah, shipping was VERY fast too.

401 and 401 not seeing an issue here.
there is no rule that says boolits have to be bigger than the bbl.
smaller- bad, same - fine, bigger is okay too.

Hello Lefty...I should be so unlucky to have a mould .001" out of round!

I'm not knocking this mold, its easy to run and the boolits look nice, I'm excited to have a NOE mold. Just simply asking for your experiences with this situation.

Only a problem if you are using a very hard alloy, and perhaps not then. Shoot them and let us know.

I don't see how you can see the mistake as yours. The mould is supposed to cast a .402" or bigger bullet, it doesn't, and that is a manufacturing error. Try the bullets in your gun, if they work then the error is of no consequence. If they do not, I would not feel bad asking NOE to make it right.
