Didn't know where else to post this . It is not completely related to cast boolits but I found it very interesting any way especially the slow motion video's of 38 bullets in gelatin . The bone simulation section made me re- access the 38 full wad cutter as a defense / general purpose load.

If almost nothing is going to expand after hitting bone any way why not just start out with the biggest frontal area you can from the beginning? :-o

wadcutter bullets make a clean round hole in the target. On skin it works same way.wound stays open leaves a nice blood trail.Round nose stretch the skin and close back up

one we always used and never had a problem with. .38 hollow base wadcutter loaded back wards. now that is a hollow point that opens up.
