I found a concaved Weaver base that fit pretty close on my 15-A and got it installed. The scope is an old Redfield 1X4X32. I think it's gonna work out OK. Tomorrow, I'll dial it in and post a photo of the proof target.

How about cockking the little bugger? Can you still get enough hand in to pull the knob back? Other than that I can't see why it wouldn't work just fine. I have one of those that I bought used for my Daughter over 30 years ago. Cut the barrel back to 16" and cut the stock to 12 and it's been through kids and grankids every since.

Oh, yeah, plenty o' room. I shot it quite a bit yesterday morning and had no problems. I bought two different brands of ammo for it yesterday afternoon, so I'm not quite ready to post a range report yet.

Looks Good Jim. Good Job. Did you Epoxy it on? Looks like you might have. I will be interested to see how that holds up keep us posted on that.

That's what I like to see. An old rifle that is not fashionable these days that most folk wouldn't want but still being used.

Wow that is going to be some very short eye relief; but if it works, so be it. I have had various scopes on my 120A for the past thirty plus years, (it shoots about 3" high with iron sights).

While it probably won't shoot like a target rifle; it should shoot well enough for small game at any sensible range.

The extractor will work better if you fully chamber the round with thumb pressure, instead of pushing the last little bit in with the bolt.
