Was the Lyman 56 Receiver Sight ever offered as a special order option for a 94 Winchester?
Oldest son picked up a 94 Winchester 30 WCF (Not marked as a 30-30) that came equipped with an all steel Lyman 57 Receiver Sight. The rear sight had been removed and a filler block had been inserted to fill the dovetail (Swear it looks like an old filler block from Marbles but there is no markings).
Running the serial number indicates it was made in 1950.
I will try to post some pictures of it tomorrow if he brings it back by the house.
