I have a Lee 6 cav 240 gr GC bullet mold. It casts like a dream come true. I don't want to bother with GC. Will I be taking a risk of contaminating the powder if I load the bullets lubed with FWFL.
I am afraid that if the bullets sit for some length of time that little ring of lube around the base of the bullet will cause problems.
I have thought of just using all 45/45/10 as a lube and being done with it.

I have never seen any contamination issues.
If concerned, can you wipe off some lube from the base?

I was pretty sure that there was a sticky somewhere.

Wipe the base of the boolit on a small piece of carpet, be sure to use the real short knap type. Wipe the base of the boolit just before you seat it. The small amount of lube that will be left won't hurt a thing. I staple a small piece (4"X5") to my reloading bench next to the press. It will last for quite a while.

it'll be dry.
there ain't much chance of it getting into anything.
make sure the lube is dry.

when you make the 45/45/10 lube make sure you get the solvents out of the jpw.
otherwise it will take 2-3 weeks for the boolits to dry when lubed.
