hello,
i have an old cg 63 rifle , 1902 action , norma rebuild in 1967.
my rearsight , a soderin diopter , was kind of loose , i could wobble it a bit.
it appeared to be some play on the metal to metal surfaces , so no direct way to
fasten it up .
i slided of the upper part , cleaned the surfaces and with the tip of a screwdriver
i added some molycote 3402 C LF antifriction coating on the surfaces.
let it dry for ten minutes or so , and then put it back together.
now i can still adjust the sight just like before , but the play is gone !

i can see some other applications for this coating , maby this post is helpfull to others
by the way , this coating is a thin solution , kind of like a thin paint .
when its dried up you get a even coat of molycote , wich is hard to remove.
