Let me know when you get tired of seeing these. I just finished this one, and am taking it to the P.O. I'm starting in on a left handed trade gun next.

Me I love work and could watch it all day so keep on posting!

Now here's a question for you! Somewhere in one of my books one time I saw a 1853 Enfield lock and barrel mounted in a Trade Gun stock made up into a 1/2 stock percussion trade gun. Now I have a 24 Ga. enfield smooth bore with a military stock that I keep because it's what my Grandfather started with in 1906, he bought it from Sears for like $2.50. I am not much on the stock and am thinking about using an old trade gun stock I have with a warped fore end to make up a Hudson Bay gun. Do you remember the gun I am talking about and where the drrawing was? I can't find my Hanson books right now. I would sure get more use from the old gun if I could shoulder it better.

I don't recall that particular gun, but have seen quite a few late Hudson Bay examples like that. If I were you, I would HAVE to do it, just to see!
