Went To The Range Today

Putting this under the Military Rifles category because that's what we shot the most.
Original 03 Springfield, original sights. Not hot loads, but not cat-sneeze loads either. My 12 year old was keeping 4 out of 5 shots in a 2 foot circle at 500 yards.
We also shot the 348 Winchester. First time reloading for it and first time shooting it.
The peep sight on that is a big help to my old eyes.

These two live to go shootin. It's the only thing they put above video games. And both are surprisingly good shots with the 1911.

They've also already been reloading for the 45 ACP, the 45-70, and the 03 Springfield.

I love to see young people take an interest in shooting and get good at it . One of the youths I'm hoping will get better gets whipped by his three sisters everytime they come out ...........It's about time to invite them again :smile:
