Am I Blessed or What?!

So tonight, we mined most of the lead at our indoor range. THe crew turned out to be me, myself, and I. I guess some of the more experienced casters were excited to have some young blood interested in range mining, and decided to sit this one out.

IT was a LOT of work, but I was lucky to have one of the guys pass on the range vibrator / sifter that is powered by a nice motor, so I just had to dump shovel fulls into the top of the sifter, and let it tumble into a bucket. I got 10 buckets. When I got home it weighed out to over 600 lbs.

I am guessing that I will have about 15% that will smelt out. Probably next weekend I will start to smelt this down to ingots.

NEXT - time to make some 100% environmentally friendly and recycled boolits!
