Anyone have any experience with a Lyman 35868? Looks like a double end ended wad utter, just bought one on E thing and wonder about others experience with this design.
Thanks in advance. Tim

Yup. I used this bullet for years back in the 1970's when I was shooting competition (and actually won a few) all the time. I think it was originally designed for the S&W Mod 52, but at the time I picked up the mold I was not aware of that. Apparently, neither were my revolvers as they shot well (at least as well as other WCs in that weight). I cast it pretty soft and loaded it over 2.5-3.0gr of Bullseye. It is a double ended WC, but I always seated the sprue cutoff side down -- probably just OCD on my part as it really didn't seem to make a difference.

I have a 4 cavity 358063 that shoots good in my Smith 14-6.Also if I load it with the bevel out just a bit in 38 special case it feed through my Marlin 94C real slick. It is a good boolit that cast easy and works good with the Lee tumble lube. I always seat it with the sprue cut out......Terry
