View Full Version : 358156 mold with gas check cut out
Who has had one of their 358156 molds cut out from gas check to flat base?
How did you like the results, bullet accuracy, etc?
Thanks,
Rex

Yep! I have one and I like it. Mine's a HP and it shoots well in all my .38s and .357s.
I got tired of having a 358156HP around for years and due to the cost of factory GCs, I never used it. I had the GC shank milled out and now it gets play right along with the remainer of my "good" designs.
If you're debating about doing it. Go for it./beagle

Want to add : Beagle was my inspiration for having my mold deshanked & if a certain powder/boolit combo is`nt working I turn to the barebottomed 358156 to set a base line with .
