What a Gift!

Got a call last week from my buddy at the tire store. He wanted to know when I was going to come down and "take this lead off his hands". I hot-footed it down the next day and he had two five gallon buckets for me. Now, if that's not nice enough, one bucket was about 90% lead clip-ons and the other was almost all lead stick-ons. He said that he has the fellas try to sort 'em when they pull them off the rims and keep the steel and zinc out of "my" buckets.

That is a true friend! And after the crazy hot weather we've been having, the boys really liked the 12 pack of Bud!

Yeah, I call ahead when I know they should have a bucket or two and tell them I'm bringing pizzas for lunch. I deal with the owner, so the first time I got the WW's, I asked him - so, next time should I bring pizza or beer ?? He said pizza would be great. Nice people. enjoy Mike

My only constant lead source is fertalized with top quality pizza. Over 3 years and nobody else gets weights.

One of my sources get,s a box of donuts for a full bucket. At one time they got a new guy and chewed and spit in my bucket. After I said something about it the next time I picked up. He came over and helped load and said the rest of the guys would not let him have any donuts till he made it right!! I am amazed at the power of just a little food!!!! Clint

I had a guy try to sell me his lead about 10 yrs ago.
I told him no thanks. 2 years ago he called a says if I would come and get it he would give it to me.
I left his place with 700#+ of lead in the back of my F150.

I think you guys are right...I'm going to upgrade the beer to pizza and beer! They really are a great bunch of guys.
