can you shoot PH .308 165 gr. no gas check

I have 400 ph 165gr boolits no gascheck from my friend my regular load it's 180gr gascheck boolit with 13grains green dot can I do the same load but no gascheck ?

I just shot a test batch of 165gr boolits with no gas checks with 12gr of reddot very nice...

I just got a mold for 113gr boolits so have to cast a few and test them out...

When I do my 180gr full hunting loads I use gas checks but us RL-17

I think they are in the 800 to 1000 fps range you don't have to worry about leading at all its a pretty standered universal load for casings of about the same capacity... I just shot some pretty Hot loads with no GC and did not have any leading problems that I noticed my guestimate they were doing 1600 to 1700 fps....
