I am having trouble sending a private message. I have tried to send a private message to another person on this site, and a private message to Staff, and have not recieved a reply from any of them.

I have sent and recieved private messages before, has this opition been taken away from non-paying members?

It is not an instant message, give a little while if everybody is like me it will be a day or so to respond.

There is a maximum amount of private messages that will store in your profile. Have you deleted old ones to free up room? As far as Mod's you have to remember that there are almost 25,000 members. They may have alot of messages to read.

No nothing to do with non-paying members.......you should be able to send a PM. Can you receive a PM??? Also there is a limit to the number of PM's in your inbox.

I've been having some trouble sending PMs too. Don't know what's up. I type them up and send and nothing appears in my sent message file. It remains empty. I don't know whether the person I sent it to got it or not.

That is what was happening to me.

I have deleted most of the PM's in my folder, and I can now send an recieve PM's.

Is there any way to check and see if a PM has been read?

By the recipient? No.

There is a setting to determine whether a copy of the PM is saved in your sent folder. I believe the default is to not save a copy. I think you can also send a PM to yourself as a test.

I think that I was saving to many PM's. It is working fine now.
