My few posts relate to my 358 kinda equivalent round for hunting whitetail here in Indiana amongst our oddball regs.
With rifle and dies pending arrival here in a couple weeks, POWDERS come to mind and Im scouring the web for J loads........and need cast load advice on a powder......for both?
Cast will be my go to bullet for 90 percent of my hunting.....might even be all the time when compared in the field after a season or two.
I run through all the personal choices on powders for the 358 and I RARELY see the IMR 8208 XBR listed as a good choice.
Checking the burn rates, it falls right in there with the most used powders, neck in neck with 4895, and the HIGHLY recommending TAC and good old 3031.
What powders run best for you using the Rcbs 35-200-fn and anyone have experience with the 8208 and can tell me why its not often mentioned?
I know......I should use search and find the info.....looking for fresh new advice from those willing.
A burn rate chart from one site.
