I hope nobody minded, but I took the liberty of getting some flowers for Moma with a card from all the guys at Cast Boolits. It took a bit of explaining to bring her to understand who and what we are, but she finally caught on.

So, without further ado, here's the pics.

Jeff, you might be interested to know that when I was explaining this to Moma and listing all the countries I could remember where we have members, I thought of you and your fellow New Zealanders and made a point to mention y'all.

Ya done good there Jim, for sure. She is a gem no two ways about it.

Mine is 84 now, living on the family farm by herself and would have it no other way. She still gets around and takes care of her grocery needs and such, just not quite as fast as she used to. We pop in about every other weekend or so to catch the things she isn't able to swing anymore like the mowing and such and fix whatever needs fixin.

She is always telling us we don't need to but that isn't the point, she did her taking care of everyone else, now it is our turn to return the favor.

One other thing, with ours a basket of flowers always lights her up as well.

God Bless, and thanks for caring and sharing

Very cool Jim. That day I phoned a friend in Idaho and it was liking talking to my neighbour. "It's a small world after all".

Hey Jim,
My mom will be 92 on her next birthday, you don't mind if I steal your idea, do you? She drives out to our house three or four times a week, and usually catches me looking at Cast Boolits. A card would explain a lot.

Jim,
You tell your mom to stop pulling our leg. Since you showed us her picture we know a pretty girl like her can't be 94.

Jim, I was elated when you came back to us after your short hiatus, doubly so now.

I know I speak for others when I say we are honored you thought of us in this way.

All across the world mothers are still the best thing around! God bless you for still taking care of her and still visting, because He blessed you when He gave you a mother!

I wish she could know how much those of us here think of you and I for one enjoy your threads and posts, she'd be one proud Moma!
