My 1 burner stove just wasnt fast enough to melt pots full of COWW for Ingot making so I built this Blaster Stove out of scrap pieces of steel and a homemade weedburner...It cuts the melt time by 1/3.

I use a regular burner with a pot made from a piece of 12 inch pipe that holds about 180 lbs. I use the weed burner pointed at the pile of WW in the pot to help get them melted, after they are melted the regular burner under the pot keeps them melted until I get them all poured. Yes, those weed burners put out a lot of heat. All the ones I have seen use straight tank pressure, no regulator.

Mine uses tank pressure with a small valve inline to reduce the flame when needed.

I guess I'll add one more thing to my "gotta' have one" list.

The weed burner I have will melt copper, and brass so be careful. The paper work that came with it said up to 3000@ it has a turbo trigger that sounds like a low flying jet.

I imagine this one would melt aluminum, copper, and brass if I ran it full bore and waited long enough. It gets the steel ring a dull red color but not the cast iron pot.
For safety sake I am adding 3 more pot stability legs on top.

i think once i get the casting process understood and become familiar with it, i'm gonna hunt me down a cast iron tea kettle and make me a setup very similar to this. i like it mooseman. gotta make me one now :)
