.............According to their announcement they may now ship black powder, smokless powder AND primers TOGETHER for one Haz Mat Fee.
Don't know if this is old news to you all, but I just got the e-mail from Graf & Son.

I didn't get the email but my last order included both primers and powder on one HazMat. That was about 3 months ago.
EDIT: I should have added, the order was from Grafs.

Black powder has very odd laws that really need revisiting.

I will repeat the same question I have asked for YEARS. Where is the FEDERAL LAW on HAZMAT fees?
Every company seems to have different rules and fees as to what they will ship.
Some charge $20.00 and now I see that GRAF has raised their fee to $27.00.
From what I have been able to find the Gov is NOT involved. This is just another added fee on hand loaders.
I placed an order for powder from -------. It was filled from 3 different warehouses in 3 different areas of the country and delivered by 3 different trucks. All for the same $20.00 fee. [smilie=b:
Prove me wrong please with proof.

My local dealer told me that his suppliers do not charge Haz Mat fees. Only regular people get charged the fee. It is all bogus. It is just to make more money from you.

It is the shippers that charge that

The shippers as in the store. The delivery company just has to have a paper that list all of the chemicals they are carrying.
