The rifle is a 32 WS and I'm wondering about the forearm because it is a little loose. Can I tighten it up in any way? The wood is pretty nice with no cracks and I was wondering if there is a way to preserve it or keep it from cracking? Or should I not worry and go have fun.
It was made in 1901 and it says "nickle steel barrel for smokeless powder".
