Well, stopped at 6 places today. Not suprisingly, two of the big chain type places were washouts. They have corporate recycling. One chain has asked me to stop back. The manager just wants to check with the owner to see if its OK, otherwise he said he'd gladly give me whatever he has. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Did very well at three mom & pops. One place said he had to charge, but was willing. I paid $8 for about 1/3 of a 5 gallon pail. Second place gave me his, about 1/4 of a pail. These were oily, but free! I'm starting a separate thread about those, I need advice on degreasing them. Third place was reluctant at first, as they have a person who they scrap to on a consistent basis. But, the guy started asking me questions, turns out he's a shooter and interested in the process but really didn't know how hard it was. I gave him some beginner advice, and he gave me his weights, over half a pail!
