Im thinking about the 300gn WFN 44 mag bullet and would like to order it to drop .432 with straight wheel weight. My cylinder throats are about .4315.......so i figured .432 would give me some room to play..any thoughts?

Sounds good ! you will also need nose to crimp length or tell Vearl what gun it will be used in so You can maximize case capacity ,
I have the LBT 300 gr gc LFN for my 454 Casulls and it is excellent and super accurate with a aray of loads .

I was planning to tell him it was a super redhawk but i think the crimp to nose is .5 or .45

As I recall, the SRH cylinder from breach to the front face is 1.80", so a 0.50" crimp nose length with the 44mags 1.285" case will give you a COL of 1.785" or 0.015" clearance.

I have a 480 mold (same case length and cylinder length) that has a .50" nose and it shoots very well. If you're looking to load the 44 mag SRH to 445 supermag levels, such a bullet would be the way to go.

When Veral gives a figure for nose length, the boolits that the mold will drop are really 0.025-0.30 shorter. For example a .400" nose drops around a .375" boolit.
