has anyone worked up a hunting load for the winchester 94 trapper with 2400/ win 296/ bluedot /hs7/ herco/reddot these are the pistol powder that i stock

i found some data in the handloader magazine april 2007 they have three levels 14'000 psi 20'000 psi and 32'000 psi witch psi does the winchester 94 45 colt fall in it has to be 20'000 or 32'000 psi i want to use it on deer out 100 yards i have 5 mule deer doe tags and 2 white doe tags this year plus my buck tag all over the state most are in eastern montana just want to make the doe hunting fun

All three. Use the lowest one for short range, and the highest for the longest range. Make all three hit the same sight picture, each corresponding to the range. ... felix

i use 8.0 titegroup in Win 94 and usfa 45 colt.rifle has 20 in barrel vel runs1200.i pour a soft bullet around 10 bhn and it comes out 285gr. lubed. vel 916 out of handgun.

looked in my notes and only load i have checked with the powders you list is 12.5 Blue Dot out of 4 3/4 handgun 896. 13.5 seems to be a popular load but havent ran it yet.

Marlin 1894 in 45 Colt
Virgin Starline brass
24.0 grains of WW 296
CCI Large Magnum Pistol Primer
RCBS 270 SAA, water quenched wheel weights
Sized at .452 and lubed with LBT Blue
1700+ fps across the screens at 12'.

The recovered bullet was fired into dry 6" thick slick paper catalogs at a measured 25 yards. The recovered bullet expanded to .75"

I use 17gr of 2400..........because it works for me, your mileage may vary.
