Woo-Hoo!!!

I hope not to sound like bragging, but my lovely wife called me about an hour ago from work, and told me to go ahead and order the Waage MP80A-6-1 pot for my birthday, which is at the end of September!

I did it!

It is one of the Industrial Models, with a cast iron crucible, and holds eighty pounds of metal. I had hoped for the MP40, which holds 40 lbs, but the 80-pounder is only $125 more.

I figure, if you are going to cast with the Rolls Royce of molds*, you should have the RR of pots!

Should ship Monday...

* do I need to say NOE?

Rich, did you ever regret selling that 204 miller?

Rich, is it a bottom pour model, or a ladle type?

Catmasher,

only on days that end in "Y"! Gaylord is absolutely not interested in selling it back.

Quasi,

bottom pour. You can check the line out at waage.com. For some reason going www.waage.com does not work well.

Rich

PS: UPS says next Wednesday...

Rich:

Congratulations on your new HAPPY BIRTHDAY present ! :)

I have several of the WAAGE K-series 22 pound ladle pots and am very impressed with their construction and operation !

I was under the impression that the MP-series was a VERY heavy duty version of a similarly designed ladle pot. Please post a bunch of photos of your new one when it arrives. I may join in and buy one myself ! :) :)

What is the inside diameter of the crucible?

Idaho Sharphooter, you are going to like that WAAGE 80 lb Industrial Pot.... My 100 lb WAAGE Industrial Pot is 32 years old, bought in June of 1980... It has operated flawlessly since the day I got it... Set the temp and it will stay the same all day... Enjoy, you will never use another brand of melting pot again... The WAAGE truly is the Rolls-Royce of melting pots.

Hey, Kitsap! I presume you live out in Kitsap County? A little "off topic", but I shoot out at the Poulsbo Club from time to time and live over in Suquamish.

Glad to see some fellow Kitsap residents on the forum, the greatest shooting forum on the planet!
